We gently perform a thorough clinical examination to determine the state of your pet's health. Often your pet receives a treat to calm them if nervous.

We explain our findings to you, and list all the possibilities. If seriously ill, we will admit them and commence immediate treatment and intensive care whilst we run further tests. We discuss the possible diagnosis with you and describe the further diagnostic tests we need to perform to confirm that diagnosis.

We offer full Pathology services, including blood tests, X-rays and skin scrapes.   If necessary , we can send samples to specialist pathology laboratories. We can also refer you to veterinary specialists if we feel that an expert is required to treat your pet.

Then we discuss the test results, treatment options, expected outcomes and give you a prognosis, which is a prediction about your pet's likely recovery.

We discuss the most cost-effective methods with you and offer the best, latest and most up-to-date treatments. We then double check that you have understood everything we have discussed to keep you informed and in full control of your pet's care.
